Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Valid8it ("the Service") at https://valid8-it.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Valid8it is

Valid8it is a startup idea validation tool that analyses publicly available Reddit data using AI to help founders assess market demand. The Service provides reports, app ideas, product specifications, and Claude Code starter packages based on this analysis.

Valid8it is a research and productivity tool. All outputs are AI-generated and should be treated as a starting point for your own research, not as investment or business advice.

3. Account registration

You must create an account to use Valid8it. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Valid8it. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions and billing

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• —Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• —Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
• —Scrape or extract data from the Service in bulk
• —Resell or redistribute outputs from the Service without attribution
• —Use the Service to generate content that violates Reddit's terms of service
• —Submit validation queries designed to harass or harm individuals
• —Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Service's infrastructure

6. AI-generated content

Reports, app ideas, product specs, and code packages generated by Valid8it are produced by AI models and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Valid8it. You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs to provide the Service. AI-generated outputs belong to you, subject to the terms of the underlying AI providers (Anthropic).

7. Reddit data

Valid8it accesses publicly available Reddit content via Reddit's API in accordance with Reddit's terms of service. We do not access private subreddits or user data beyond what is publicly available. Reddit content displayed in reports remains the property of the original authors.

8. Limitation of liability

Valid8it is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any business decisions made based on outputs from the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Valid8it shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Valid8it after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
